We are able to arrange finance from offshore borrowers lending to a maximum of 70%. However, depending on the nature of property being purchased and your intent, our lender will consider applications with increased lending on a case by case basis. If you are purchasing an apartment, the floor area needs to be a minimum of 50 square meters. As a guide, we would lend circa 65% of the apartments value, but this is solely dependant on the apartment and its location.
If you would like us to consider your application with a view to pre-approval, the following information would be required:
1) Complete the application form
2) Provide proof of income
3) Provide proof of deposit in applicants name (I.e. Bank statements, existing property)
4) Last three months bank statements
5) Copy of valid passport for all applicants
If your loan is pre-approved, we will require the original copies of all of the documents. These will need to be certified through a notary public, or a solicitor and then forwarded to the bank.
If you are emigrating to New Zealand and have employment and Permanent Residency Visas, the bank would be able to look at lending up to 90% on a case by case basis and with an occasional loan of up to 95% on a case by case basis. A Low Equity Margin will be added to all lending over a LVR of 85% and there would be a requirement for a Registered Valuation on the property.
